A Brooklyn man died after being riddled with bullets during a confrontation on a streetcorner early Friday, police said.
Officials at Kings County Hospital notified police that a gunshot-wound victim had been brought to the emergency room by his friends at 6:20 a.m., police said.
The cops arrived to discover Kent Gonzalez, 38, who had been shot repeatedly in the chest and stomach.
Gonzalez, who died at the hospital, had been gunned down at the corner of ChurchAve. and E. 17th St. in Flatbush, his friends told police.
Though investigators believe Gonzalez’s friends witnessed the killing, the dead man’s pals were not cooperating with investigators, a police source said.
Gonzalez had prior arrests for drug possession, but it was not immediately clear whether the murder was drug-related, the source said.
No arrests have been made.
